Where this policy applies. This policy is written and maintained under United Kingdom law, where Exam Mastery International's parent company, Nexus Education Group, is registered. It's our primary legal reference point across all the markets we serve. For students and families outside the UK, jurisdiction-specific data protection, consumer protection, and education regulations may also apply, and a review of those local requirements is in progress. Exam Mastery International is a division of Nexus Education Group ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal data and processing it transparently, lawfully, and in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Enquiry and registration data: name, email address, phone number, country, exam board, subjects, year group — collected when you contact us or register for a trial or subscription
Payment data: processed by PayPal; we do not store card details
Workshop participation data: session attendance, questions submitted, performance data shared within the workshop
Communication data: WhatsApp messages, Discord messages, email correspondence
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time on site — collected via cookies and analytics tools
Feedback data: survey responses, testimonials (where explicitly provided for publication)

3. How We Use Your Data

To deliver workshop services and manage your subscription
To send session reminders, recordings, and relevant educational communications
To respond to enquiries and provide customer support
To improve our services through analysis of usage patterns
To meet our safeguarding obligations
To comply with legal requirements

We will not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We will not use your data to send unsolicited communications unrelated to Exam Mastery International services.

Legal obligation: Safeguarding records, compliance with applicable law

Enquiry data: 2 years from last contact if no subscription is taken up
Subscription and payment records: 7 years (legal requirement)
Session recordings: minimum 90 days; longer where a safeguarding record is required
Safeguarding records: retained in accordance with statutory guidance
