PARTNER RESOURCE HUB

Everything you need to have a credible first conversation.

You already know your market. This page gives you the product knowledge, talking points, and materials to walk into a school — or a BNI room — and represent EMI accurately and confidently.

This page is built for active and prospective partners. If you're a parent or student, the resources here aren't for you — visit our student resources page or school resources page instead. Not yet a partner? Apply here.
The 5-Minute Pitch

What EMI actually is,
in one breath.

Say this
"Exam Mastery International runs small-group, peer-learning workshops for A-Level, IGCSE and GCSE students — Maths, Further Maths and Physics. It's not 1-1 tutoring. Cohorts of up to 15 students work through real past-paper questions together, facilitated by someone who's sat that exact exam, so students see multiple ways to solve a problem and learn what examiners actually reward. Every facilitator is Enhanced DBS cleared, and there's a free trial workshop with no payment required — the easiest way for a school or parent to see it for themselves."
Why this works as an opener

It names the differentiator (peer learning, not tutoring) in the first sentence, gives a concrete number (15 students) that makes it feel real rather than abstract, leads with safeguarding before anyone has to ask, and ends with a free, no-risk next step. You don't need to memorise more than this to start a credible conversation.

Objection Handling

The questions you'll
actually get asked.

Real questions schools and BNI contacts ask, with answers grounded in EMI's actual published policies and pricing — not generalities.

Is EMI "just another tutoring company"? How do I answer that?
No, and this is the single most important distinction to get right. 1-1 tutoring is one student, one tutor, working through content. EMI workshops are capped at 15 students, working through past-paper questions together, with a facilitator who shows which approaches examiners actually reward. The model is peer learning, not tutoring — students see multiple valid methods for the same question, compare approaches, and learn from each other's mistakes before they make them in a real exam. If a school leader pushes back with "how is this different from a tutor," that's the answer: more students, more methods, examiner-informed, not slower 1-1 repetition.
What's the evidence behind peer learning, if a school asks?
Cite Topping, K.J. (2015), Peer Learning — it's already referenced on the EMI homepage. The short version: students learn more effectively when they engage with multiple problem-solving approaches, discuss ideas with peers, recognise common errors, and practise under structured conditions, compared to working alone or 1-1. You don't need to over-explain the research — naming the source and the one-sentence finding is usually enough credibility in a first conversation.
What boards and subjects does EMI actually cover?
A-Level and AS-Level: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics across Cambridge CAIE, Edexcel, and AQA. IGCSE: Mathematics, Further Pure Mathematics / Additional Mathematics, and Physics across Cambridge CAIE, Edexcel, and OxfordAQA. GCSE: Mathematics and Physics across AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, plus the AQA Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics. If a school asks about a board not listed, say so honestly and offer to find out — don't guess.
What do I actually say about safeguarding?
Every facilitator holds Enhanced DBS clearance, completed before their first session — not after. Safeguarding training is completed before any facilitator works with minors, and the full Safeguarding Policy and Child Protection policy are published and public, not just promised verbally. This is usually the second question a school asks, right after "how is this different from tutoring" — have it ready, and point to the published policies rather than just asserting it.
What's the actual pricing, if a school or parent asks?
Three tiers: a single £49 one-time workshop (no subscription), a £149/month Standard plan (4 live workshops per month), and a £199/month Mastery plan (8 sessions per month, working out to roughly £25 per session). All paid plans carry a 7-day full refund. Compare this to UK private A-Level tutoring, which typically runs £30–100+ per hour — EMI's per-session cost is meaningfully lower, even before accounting for the peer-learning structure.
What does a workshop actually look like, if someone asks to see one?
Direct them to claim a free trial workshop — no payment required, the same offer every student gets. There's no separate "partner demo" process; the most credible thing you can do is let a school or parent experience the real thing rather than a staged version of it.
How is this different from the Affiliate / Earn with Us programme?
Affiliates earn commission on individual referrals — one parent or student at a time. Your role as a Territory Partner is different: you're building relationships with schools directly, opening doors at the institutional level, not referring individuals. If someone you meet wants to refer people they personally know rather than build a school portfolio, point them to the Affiliate programme instead.

Materials To Hand Over

Don't pitch from memory.
Hand something over.

EMI already publishes free, no-signup-required materials built specifically for schools. These are your strongest opening move — not a hard sell, a genuine free resource a department can use immediately.

Command Word & Grade Boundary Guides

One free PDF per subject and board, combining command-word mastery tables with current grade boundary data. Available on the Schools & Educators page — no form, no email required.

The Safeguarding Policy Suite

Published, public, and citable: Safeguarding Policy and Child Protection Policy. Point a school here directly rather than just asserting EMI takes safeguarding seriously.

The Free Trial Offer

The single best thing you can offer a school or parent: one workshop, no payment required. Direct them to claim it via WhatsApp and let the product speak for itself.

This Page

If a school contact wants to understand EMI's model in more depth before committing, this Partner Resource Hub is shareable — everything on it is public-safe.

Proof Points

Exactly what's verifiable today — and what isn't yet, stated honestly. See the Proof Points page before a school asks you for evidence you don't have ready.
